I was robbed last week friday so all my cards were. I went into capitec Tygervalley Branch on Tuesday and was served by a gentleman cannot remember his name. I informed him that i was robbed and that i need a new card. He told me i would be charged R35 for a new card so i enquired as to why as its not my fault i was robbed and he informed me in a very unsympathetic way "oh its not capitecs fault that i was robbed and that i will be charged". This is not the kind of service i expect to recieve from a bank your consultants need to be a bit more sympathetic and understanding in situations like these. I went to FNB as i also have an account with them and they are gladly going to reimburse me for the card and were very understanding to what had happened. I want this charge of R35 credited back into my account as i feel this is not how things should be handled especially seeing that i was robbed.
