On Friday, 05 July 2013, i went to a Standard Bank ATM in Sunnyridge Germiston. I was trying to draw more than two thousand rand, i got the SMS on my phone that the money had come off of my account, but it never came out of the ATM, the screen just turned red and i didnt get my cash or my card. I went in to the eastgate branch the following morning (Saturday) where i was told that a claim has to be logged for me to get my money back and that i should call 0860 101 341 with my ref no. on Monday and it should be sorted. Well after phoning this call centre, i am informed that it will be 9 WORKING DAYS before i get MY money back. 9 days to get my money back that was robbed from me by a STANDARD BANK ATM. I think that in today's times things like customer service should come first and frankly, 9 WORKING DAYS IS and i will not accept it.
