SA WARRENTIES NO WORTH CLAIMING

I purchased a Subaru from a dealership in Johannesburg. I drove the car for 2 years as a daily car to work and back. Consequently on my way to work driving the car ran a bearing and damaged the engine. I submitted the claim to SA Warranties, Subaru told me i was wasting my time and I ended up paying out of pocket in excess of 56 000 rand to have the engine sub assembly rebuild. The heads still require a further 40 000 rand to be repaired correctly. Subaru have indicated to me that SA Warranties are the worst to deal with as they leave the customer with plenty to pay. I would recommend that vehicle finances do not recommend SA warranties as an option when purchasing a vehicle second hand. Its funny how when it comes to monthly payment if one payment is missed they will call you immediately, but when the customer needs to claim their is always a way to get out of paying out the warranty. I am now without a car and 56000 down, i think i will take it further with the ombudsman/small claim court.
