I am not an ABSA client yet some months a debit order goes off on my account for a ABSA loan.
I have tried calling ABSA customer care, complaints, head office and every other number I could find. I have even gone into a branch yet everywhere I am told they cannot assist me with this. I am then transferred to another department where I am on hold for at least 5 min at a time and still no help!
I have stopped this debit with my bank but ABSA just debits under a different reference number then.
I don't know what to do anymore. Seems I will have to close my account and open a new one! Somebody told me about the ombudsman, maybe I should try this. One thing is for sure, I am not an ABSA client now, and I never will be!
