Unlawful debit orders

I joined Oakhurst at the begining of June 2013, I was told that at the end of July my account will only be debited with an amount of R690.00. I sent an e-mail on the 26 June 2013 for Oakhurst to cancel all my policies except for my car Insurance. The policy states that you can cancel your policies and insurance with immediate effect, which I had done. I received my bank statement this morning and they had deducted R690.00, R494.59, R165.00 and R99.00. I tried contacting Oakhurst Insurance most of the morning and could not get through, I left two messages, I sent e-mails to no avail. I eventually got hold of them this afternoon, to be told that they will not refund any of my money as my policies were only cancelled today, and that they do not know why I was never informed that the R494.59 would be deducted as well. I have had numerous problems with this insurance company since I had joined them. I want my money back.
