I took a car insurance from oakhurst since I was buying a new car. They quoted me R1 740 plus. Five minutes after I took the contract I found a ridiculously low premium from 1st For Women. I immediately called Oakhurst to cancel the contract with them. This happened in the morning of 10Jan 2013. Shelley Herculles gave me a guarantee that the contract was cancelled. To my surprise in the evening of 17 Jan 2013 they have deducted R1231.75. This is the company that did not even give me a ref number for the contract and yet quick to deduct money from my account. For What?
I am utterly disgusted.
