FICA DOCUMENTATION

On the 20th March 2013 I opened a Nedbank account at Hyde Park branch. Maseriti was responsible for the process. My FICA documentation was not submitted accurately which resulted in my account being frozen. Following this experience I have returned to the bank on four different occasions. The first two were alone and the third with my husband. I produced the necessary documentation again. I was reassured all was resolved. The third visit to Head Office in Sandton resulted in my being taken through to the Manager at the Sandton branch - that experience went nowhere. I am a small business with 5 employees. It's the beginning of a new month and I've got clients trying to pay me and employees waiting for their salaries. My account has been frozen and I'm out on a limb. I emailed Nedbank this morning. I spoke to Eliana a little later to follow up as no-one got back to me. It's now 14h35 and still no response. In the meantime my employees are waiting for their salaries. I'm a small business contributing towards the unemployment levels in this country. Clearly that amounts to nothing where Nedank is concerned.
