I opened a credit card account with ABSA September 2013. This was done over the internet. On the day that I received my card, I gave all the required FICA documentation to a lady at the Branch. The account has been working up and till December 2013, where it was just BLOCKED. When I followed this up, I was informed that the account has been blocked because there were outstanding FICA documentation, and the call centre told me that the branch did not do their work, and I must go back to the branch. I find this unaccpetalbe, for I do not have time to go back. As a customer I submitted all the documentation that was required. This is a mistake ABSA made, and they must rectifiy this. Tobias Lube
