Unable to get statement

As my father is at the point where he doesn't want to speak with the people from alexander forbes i decided to write this complaint on his behalf.
About three months ago he wanted to get a statement of what his provident fund is worth to start planning for his retirement he called the hotline and was told to talk with his hr dept being on disability he went to his previous employer about a three weeks ago he wanted feedback from them and was told that alexander forbes refused to give the hr dept the information and that he needed to contact them in person he did that and was put in contact with the above person who told him that they would call him back within a few days that didn't happen so he called the person again and up to now the person have to answer the phone no matter what time of day you call there is no answer only voicemail this is very upsetting as he was forced to use this company by his previous employer it's a terrible and pathetic service as he has also been trying to change his banking details with them for the last year but to avail this company is giving the impression that his money has gone missing or has been
