I have always been with Standard Bank and never have I had any troubles, I had my kids account, then my Student Achiever, and recently I went to the Gold Cheque account. The consultant that helped me was Renier van Staden from Standard Bank in Centurion mall, he was very friendly and helpful and did everything to give me the best option
A lot of stuff happened that made me very angry and at one point I wanted to cancel my account with Standard Bank, if it were not for Renier's help, I would have.
Renier van Staden is an excellent consultant, I have never been more pleased with service in my life. He is, as mentioned above, always friendly and helpful, and is prepared to go the extra mile for a customer no matter what it takes. If banks employed more dedicated and friendly people like him, it would definitely not be a headache to go into the bank, as it usually is. I hope that this employee gets a raise or a promotion, or something, because his level of service is excellent, and he should be an example to every single employee of every bank to go the extra mile.
