Incorrect balances

Mr FJ van Staden (id 571208 5032 089) has got 4 accounts with Standard bank. He wants to settle his accounts, but now the additional charges on the accounts are ridiculous (R20 000 added on 1 account). For the past 2 months, we are struggling to get CORRECT settlement amounts from Standard Bank. We are just told that the accounts are correct and Mr van Staden has to pay it. It cannot be correct, since there is a lot of unnecessary cost and charges (not agreed on) and duplication of interest. Mr van Staden got legal advice and he was informed that Standard bank is overcharging him. Going to court is time and cost consuming. Is there a way of settling this matter without having to go to court?
