Gold MasterCard does not swipe at speedpoints

My previous card expired and had to be replaced. It was replaced last year with MasterCard Gold. I realised that the card does not swipe when I want to pay over the till. I can withdraw from the ATMs.
I reported the matter to Midrand branch at Boulders Shopping centre and was advised that I should change my card PIN at the ATM and the matter will be resolvd. This I did n the issue did not resolve. I called StdBank card division and they advised that they will reset my card, which should resolve the issue. This did not resove the issue.
I went bank to the branch this weekend (22/06/2013) to again complain about the matter. I received assistance from Sam at the branch, who called the Standardbank Card Division on my behalf. I learnt from the agent that my card has been stopped since last year. The reason being "my account was dormant". I have been receiving my salary through this account for over 6 years to today. I was adviced that I have to apply for a new card and provide a copy of my I.D, payslip and all FICA documentation. I told Sam that I wont give that documentation since I had nothing to do with my card being closed. He promised to check my records n get back 2 me. He hasn't
