I went to Mr Price in Carnivall Mall on the 4th of May to pay my account. Mr Price was offline but suddenly become online. So the cashier put my payment through of R500. I received a notification on my phone when the money was debited from my account but according to the cashier my payment did not go through. So i refused to pay another R500 until my initial R500 was put back into my account. The next week i paid r500 cash at the Mr Price at the Chatsworth centre. According to their supervisor it takes 24hours to reverse. The payment has not reversed till now. i have made several follow-ups with Mr Price of which they could not assist. They said it has been escalated to Absa as they bank with Absa and their tills balanced on the 4th May so they said the problem with Absa. As an Absa client, I am appalled at the service levels. Nobody is willing and able to assist. I have just lost R500 between Mr Price and Absa and neither companies are making any attempts to assist me in locating the money. I would like this investigated and resolved by no later than Wednesday next week or i will be moving my account to another Bank and logging a legal complaint against Absa and Mr. Price.
