Problem with ABSA Mastercard and Easypay website

I've been unable to pay bills on the Easypay website with my ABSA Mastercard. Response - refer to bank.
When speaking to the ABSA card call centre I am now told they have limited the per day transaction for Easypay to R500.00. Why were customers not notified of this ridiculous limit? How are we supposed to pay bills over R500.00 (which most are)? The majority of customers are now being penalised due to a 'few' I quote, transactions.
I have now tried to pay a bill for R491.00 and it still won't authorise, despite my account being up to date and plenty of credit left.
What is going on ABSA. We are your customers and it's about time you gave us the service we pay over the odds for.
