Delay in updating account with credit burea

My virgin money credit card was handed over to legal and i have paid it off completely over a week ago. I am still awaiting the paid up letter from the attorneys - although all payments were made directly to virgin money. i am in the process of rehabilitating my credit profile and have noted that NO update has been done on this with Transunion ITC. It is my right as the consumer that it be updated and i shouldn't even have to phone around, ask for it and check up that its been done. I request the paid up letter and confirmation that i have closed the account, as well as proof that my status and account information will be updated with the relevant credit bureas.
