Update of credit info

I need to find out the reasons why my credit status has not been updated. MTN sent an email to transunion which i have proof of, to update my credit profile regarding a default in my name. The debt has been paid up and it needs to be updated at Transunion but it has not been. Transunion call centre is just . they will take you from pillar to post.
