Just need clarification

I have no complaint with regards to the lady handling my claim - I just have a complaint with regards to how specified and unspecified items are handled within my policy. ON the 7th of June 2013 burglars broke into my locked garage, which is attached to the house - they broke into my car and my tool case. I claimed for this tool case as it were in the trunk of the car (locked trunk), for which dial direct made a payout of R3000 - the excess. This weekend it came to my attention that my digital camera were also in the trunk of my car (used at previous occasion) and is usually kept inside house. I brought this under the attention of dial direct just to make sure if this is also covered. However, feedback were given that it were not specified and not in house, therefore no claim could be submitted for the camera, also due to fact that item were in car. My point is, it does not make sense that dial direct see no problem for submitting the claim if the item were on shelve in locked garage, but because of the fact that item were in locked car, in locked garage, it are being listed as unspecified.

The police were at my house, they took prints and a docket were opened. Please help.
