I applied to Nebank for finance regarding a vehicle I am purchasing privately. I was assisted more than satisfactorily by Nedbank, however once they had completed their side I was directed to a facilitator, Transact Direct. A whole week after this I received my first correspondence from them, on 21 May, with a list of all the documentation I was required to submit. I was instructed to select a warranty from a long list in which the links didn't work, so I had to contact them for more details, which proved very difficult. I swiftly submitted both buyer and seller documents via email, asking to confirm receipt. I left messages for the variety of staff members working on my file - the replies were "she's off sick, she's not in yet (9am), she's at lunch, she's left (3pm), calm down". After 2 weeks of calls I finally got confirmation that NO documents were received. I re-sent them. I was then notified of further documents required, which I submitted. I have just had another phone call requesting MORE documents. This is outrageous. This level of service is not acceptable, considering the exorbitant facilitating fee they earn. Its been very difficult and 6 weeks later, still no car.
