I hereby want to lodge a complain against a Cashier.
This happened Wednesday 20/03/2023.

When I came to the paypoint, one of the assistants; instore; with the name of Justin who helped me and answered all my question, was still explaining some protocall (The store was not verry bussy in the Liquer Store side)

The Cashier asked me for my Makro Card,
While retrieving that from my wallet, al my bank cards also fell on the counter.
The Cashier was very much in a hurry and annoyingly pushy. But I told her I wanted to pay the two items I was buying sepparately.

And without asking which bank card she could use; she took the wrong bank card and swiped it on the till and the amount was deducted from the bank account which I did not want her to use, with the result that the transaction caused my bank account to go into overdraft. While the other bank card and bank account had an ample amount of money.

After she did this I told her she used the wrong bank card without my permission, and without even asking me if she could use that bank card.
I told her expressely that I did not want that to happen and asked her why she took that particular bank card, and her reaction was absolutely noncaring and non-challantly that she just did it without my permission in a hasty manner. And she shrugged it of as something that is done and nothing can be done to reverse what she did and without recompense or apology she just went on ignoring what I wanted not caring at all as if nothing seriously happened.

I want Makro Leadership to tell her, that she did not conduct herself in a professional way as it should have been fitting to the standards and quality of service that we are used to in Makro Stores.

She have to learn to comunicate properly to customers and be sure of what they want. And if any customer is in a coversation with someone else; she have to learn that primary conversations have to be respected and that she must not cut in with a secondary conversation to interrupt two other people while talking. Even though it is at a paypoint, I believe it is important to slow things down a bit and be calm and not agitated as she was; because it is right here that people make mistakes.
She was verry distracting and not focussed on my needs as customer. The way she was conducting herself and her whole non-caring attitude sets a very bad example; that does not suit the character of Macro Stores.

I'm determined that if this happens to me again I wil not leave it like that and I will call for a manager to come to my assistance and then things will realy slow down or come to a complete halt or standstill at that specific paypoint.

I want any reliable and responsible person of Makro to give me some feedback of the disciplining measures that was taken.
