Wanted to buy a car from a private seller through my business (21-01-2013)
Requested nessasary documentation required from wesbank, online.
Received email response Tue 22/1/13 from: Xhosa, Roseline
Buyer and seller send ALL the documents through (30 pages) on 24-01-2013, got response 28-01-2013.
Got approval for the finance 28-01-2013 (email sent from Refiloe)
after a number of 'progress' calls, I was told a maximum of 3 days and I can pick up my car & seller will be paid.
Inside info:
Both owners & business bank at FNB
We currently have another vehicle financed at Wesbank (never missed one payment)
Bottom line, I picked up the car on Thursday 31st with no payment yet (a BIG risk from the seller, he trusted me)
To date 8-2-13 my seller (now furious) has not received payment yet...
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, I feel like a & thieve
Wesbank claims they have "outstanding" documents.
WHY DID THEY NOT TELL ME ABOUT THE "MISSING" DOCUMENTS 2 WEEKS AGO DURING THE APPLICATION PHASE??
In any case, they have ALL the documents on record from the other car currently financed through them.
THIS IS A VERY POOR IMAGE FOR FNB...
