In March I uesd my Nedbank debit card to pay for goods at a store. There was a problem with the card machine and they swiped the card again on another machine, the payment went off my Nedbank account twice. Nedbank insisted on their Dispute form being completed which was done. This was months ago and every time I phone I hear a different story and still my own money has not been returned to my account, because Nedbank employees I am told are also human and need time off from work, because the person dealing with my "dispute" is on leave. I am not asking the bank for money, I just want my own money back. But I am told that it was my choice to shop at that store where the machine did not work and I am suppose to be happy that when I phoned the agent from Nedbank phoned the 'back office' just to find out that the person who knows about my problem is on leave. So it is another week later and I am still welcome to phone the Nedbank call centre anytime to not be told anything new in any case and obtain yet another ref no like this 63039598.
