Everytime I pay at a store which has a Nedbank credit card machine, the transaction takes 3 to 4 times longer than machines from other banks. It does not matter which card I use, Nedbank machines are the slowest. The machines seem fine so I assume it must be Nedbank's terrible IT systems.
Ask your merchant to get a terminal from another bank - it will save you time and money as Nedbank charges some of the highest rates in the country which the merchant passes on to you through higher prices.
