First National Bank
False Adverting in Apple Stores

On Tuesday 4th of June I went into the I-store in Melrose and applied for a Macbook Pro to be purchased as part of the FNB instore promotions. I received an sms stating that my application had been denied & that I was to call the following number for queries - 0860112244. I called the number which took me to a call centre in Fairlands, the call centre agent had absolutely no idea what I was referring to even though the deal is on the FNB website. She also had no idea who was responsible for the declined application. She then offered to do the approval process verbally, my verbal application was now approved but she still did not have that device on her list so she could not offer it to me. I then called my branch and spoke to a prestige banker and he promised to investigate and call back, no response. Since then every person I have spoken to at FNB is absolutely ignorant about this deal as well as who exactly processes and responds on the credit applications. Now if FNB cannot give me an answer relating to an FNB deal; the number I must call for queries has no idea what I am referring to... who do I call next?
