Terrible service (or lack thereof)

I applied for a new bank account with FNB and it has just been an inconvenience for me!!

First of all they switched my debit orders before my FNB bank account was even active (after they had advised me that it takes 4-6 weeks to do the debit order switch and that my debit orders will go off my 'old' account).

Secondly, I have been to the Witbank (President) branch several times to collect my card but the service is pathetic! Month end and there is only one person working at 'collections'? Today I finally had the time to wait and was told that the ID, utility bill and letter from the lady I rent from was not right. They also said I was not in the right queue and should 'go to the back' when I have the correct letter. He couldn't tell me what 'the right' letter must state and told me to sit and wait for another lady to help me (which I was not prepared to do). He spoke to me in an unprofessional manner and had a bad attitude.

I would like FNB to cancel my request for an account. Even though the bank charges at my current bank are more their service is excellent! Looks like you get what you pay for...
