Dishonesty & Horrific Service

A few weeks ago my partner decided he wanted to open a Capitec account.

We travelled to the Richards Bay branch with a copy of his ID. (We live in Empangeni)
We were told that we had to return with proof of residence.

We returned again a week later with the proof of residence and we were told that we also needed a copy of the landlords ID.

We were also told by the ticket woman that there were four Capitec Branches in Empangeni.
We eventually found out that we were to, there is only one Capitec bank in Empangeni.

Frustrated, we decided to go to the Empangeni branch anyway with the four different documents

We sat in queue for 40 minutes, there weren't many people in the bank but they were taking about 30 minutes per person to process, one woman even fell asleep at the counter.

Eventually they called our ticket number.

It took over an hour to create his account, the service was HORRIFIC; many people just left the bank without getting service with tickets being called out with no responses.

The woman who was making his account blamed the "New System" for the slow service.
We got home and the internet banking we signed for didn't even work!

Now we have to go back, AGAIN!
