I wanted to open a capitec account. I firs went to the Meyerton branch, with an african bank contract. They told me that they cant use it. With the same contract i went to ABSA bank to vica my 7 yaer old daughter's account and they helped me without any doubt. I found a school account with my adress on. So the next weekend i went to Britz mall capitec. and again they couldnt help me they said the date was to old on the account. so today i went to capitec eastrand mall, with an account of Meyerton glass for windows that was put in at my premises. and again they refuse to help me. just there and then i went to a nedbank, and the staff there where verry helpfull and they imediatly help me to open an account with the same account i tried to use at capitec.
im so disapointed. the reason i wanted to open an capitec account is for the so called simplyfied banking, and the bank charges, but if you ask me its a send that i could open an account becouse banking with capitec in the future wouldnt have been simplyfied but only headache.
