How traumatic is an heart attack? Well according to Liberty life not serious enough! My husband had a heart attack at 10h00 at night. A Surgeon came out at 11h30 at night to insert two stents, it was touch and go. We have a Trauma Policy that only paid out 50% because according to them it was not as traumatic enough. Really I have to question their judgement and honesty? He was transferred from one hospital to another because it was too serious and they couldn't assist him but according to Liberty it wasn't traumatic enough. The surgeon came out in the middle of the night yet it wasn't that serious enough? Does Liberty actually realise that stents are the favoured form of treatment and that bypasses are being replaced thanks to the technology and micro surgery? We waited 5 months to hear that my husbands heart attack according to Liberty was not Traumatic enough and that he would only receive 50% of the Trauma Policy. During those 5 months they kept telling they needed a "certain" PATHOLOGY TEST? My ANSWER to all this trauma they put us through CPA / Ombudsman. Liberty life, it should be liberty death.
