I have life cover (which includes dreaded diseases) with Liberty and after an heart attack and valve replacement operation instituded a claim against my dreaded disease cover. The claim was made 18 November 2013 and is still not settled... The documents were submitted and since then a lot of additional information was requested (and subitted) by the claims assessor. I understand that Liberty needs to cover all aspects, but the information requested was a bit over the top. I however supplied all the information requested - and a lot of doctor reports!
To date there has been no feedback (left alone finalization of this claim). I find this shocking and it is clear to me that Liberty is playing for time. I need this now finalized and is seriously thinking about taking this matter to the Obudsman.
