I have a Life style cover with Liberty also being covered for Disability. In mid Sep & Oct 2013 I forwarded a disability claim for my left eye. Discovering a glaucoma in my left eye in 9/7/13 by a Specialist. I have sent in all supporting documents to this claim, which Liberty required from my GP to Eye Specialist, Physicians etc. This has not been a easy task because I am a Pensioner, I depend on a govt grant, I go to govt hospitals for my health, sitting on benches from 5am to be seen by the physicians and have my reports completed to send through to Liberty and after 4months of endless visits to the hospitals, also coming to terms with I am blind on my left eye, the trauma -but I perservered because I have taken this policy with Liberty knowing that I will not be a burden to anyone, my investment with Liberty will see me through the end. I have received a letter on the 13/01/14, stating I have not disclosed I was blind in my left eye and I will not be paid out MY CLAIM. This doesn't make sense, if I was blind before I took the policy wouldn't the DOCUMENTS state so? Can someone in Liberty with EYES look at the documents. I am blind NOT STUPID, disappointed in LIBERTY :(((
