I applied for a cheque account with FNB more than 3 weeks ago but received some error stating that they'll phone me regarding the 'discrepancy on my application". I only received an sms saying that they tried to get hold of me and that I needed to phone them - I didn't even receive one phone call, a voicemail or even an email. What pathetic service is this? FNB promises to have your account switched in under 10 minutes, yet its taken them more than 3 weeks to do absolutely nothing whatsoever. How can you expect to make a good impression on "future customers" if you can't even get the sales process right. I'm starting to think I'm actually better off just staying with ABSA.
