Hippo selling contact details - beware

I entered my details on [URL Removed] a while ago.

This evening, while having dinner with my family, I received a call from a very pushy insurance company trying to sell me a product. On enquiry they advised me that they purchased my cellphone number from Hippo.

I have over the last few months also started receiving large volumes of South African email spam to the account I used with Hippo and consider it connected to the above.

I take offence to this blatently unethical and opportunistic behaviour. Your name is forever ruined in my mind.

Please don't bother contacting me.
