We had a house burglary on 10/12/2012. The assessor investigated these claims (house owners and house contents) in early January. He took statements and photo's. All required documents, certificates, reports, invoices and receipts were handed to the assessor. There was no further response from ABSA on these claims. I followed up on 4/04/2013 regarding these claims per telephone. A woman named Robyn kept me on hold for 32 minutes without further response. I eventually dropped the call. The next day I followed up by email to ABSA action line. Elsabe Jacobs phoned me on 9/04/2013 and promised to investigate the delay. No further response after this. On 8/05/2013 I send an email to the ABSA action line AGAIN. To date no further response. This service is totally unacceptable.
