We had hail damage to our house on the 11th of November and logged a claim timorously. The assessor finalised his report and sent his report back to the ABSA claims department. He suggest we follow up the next day. Two weeks later and no response. Endless waste of time holding on for the call centre to answer. Was told to call this number 0860 302 011 - held on for an hour without any human intervention. Tried 081 428 3082 - They said that they only "load " the claims and I must phone the 0860302011.
How long must I wait to get an answer. My Neighbours have OUTSURANCE and they have already have contractors working on the damage. ABSA Home loans claims department, are you open or is every body on lunch???
