Insurance - like it definitely shouldn't be!!!

My vehicle was & recovered 08/01/2013. I managed to collect my vehicle from the pound the next day but once I switched off the car @ home I couldn't get the vehicle started again as the ignition was badly damaged. Zunaid organised to tow the vehicle to Industria to have the damage assessed. Because the damage was below R 5 000 I had to cover the costs personally. Which I had no problem with. The problem was that I could not move my vehicle as the ignition was damaged & I couldn't even fit a key in. I was told in no uncertain terms that it was now my problem to remove the vehicle myself & if I didn't remove the vehicle within 48 hrs I will be charged for storage. When I asked him if they can't just @ least fix the ignition & I'll pay for it, he just kept telling me I had to sort it out. They were very quick to tow my vehicle away even though he knew the damage would be less than R5 000 but wasn't willing to do anything else after that. He also said he would organize a spare wheel which was from the vehicle but needless to say hasn't even mentioned that again. A loss is traumatic enough- nobody needs to deal with this kind of nonsense as well!!!
