My Polo was on the 7th of November. I processed a claim on the same day. There was a tracking unit in the vehicle thus it was recovered on the same day. From the 7th to the 25th my vehicle is now only at the panel beaters. I have had great service from Janine with my locks for my house and assistance with my claim. But I am unhappy the vehicle is going to be repaired. I viewed the vehicle for the first time today. I have to say it is in a shocking condition. Most electronic parts are missing and the vehicle has been stripped inside damaged outside. locks ignition computer box are missing, besides the condition the service history manuals are missing. There is a big question mark on the code of the vehicle! If the vehicle is and recovered is it not coded? if so I will be owning a hunk of metal as the vehicle will have no resale value. I am also worried about the hired car will it be available to me if the vehicle has to be repaired? according to the panel beater the parts have to be ordered from VW locks keys computer box exec. There could be a massive time factor waiting for the parts, repair. There was also a massive delay getting my vehicle out of the police impound
