Unknown Debit of R99 a Month from My Account

I noticed a new debit order of R99 a month coming off my account since January this year. I wrote to Cameron Clarke and asked him what it was for. He said it was ABSA Extreme Life (Life Assurance?) and I should contact them. I did. No response! (I did get an automated response telling me somebody will contact me, but they don't)

I wrote to Cameron again and copied in the Action Line and Contact Us on Internet. No response again except for more automated responses telling me some will contact me! Three weeks have passed and no response.

I wrote to Cameron again yesterday and told him that if I don't get a response within 24hrs, I will sms "Switch" to FNB and write to Hello [URL Removed] Again, I got no response! Hello Peter!

I think I have been with ABSA for about 15 years. Service has steadily declined from excellent (Sandton Branch) to absolutely apalling (Northgate, Cresta, last resort Clearwater). There is nobody to talk to, no personal service. I used to have a Relationship Manager, Dale Booysen, Apparently, he moved on and has not been replaced.

I have healthy accounts, personal and business. FNB are tempting, but maybe Standard Bank would be a better option. Still undecided
