I was in Old Fort Road, and stopped at the ABSA there to draw some money. I parked in the Absa parking and went to the ATM and drew some money. I decided to cross the road to go to this bookstore for 5 minutes and as my friend and I were walking across, an Absa staff member standing outside, white older man, probably in his 50s ran after us shouting that we can't park and walk. I explained to him that I am an ABSA customer and I just went into Absa and did a transaction and he just kept shouting that we couldn't park there if we were leaving. Even when I calmly explained I would be 5 minutes across the road, he rudely threatened us with being towed proudly exclaiming that he had towed 3 cars already today. He kept repeating the threat that he WILL tow us if we walk away. I understand that people shouldn't park and walk away, but I was an ABSA customer and even if they are really battling fo parking and need me to leave, the man didn't have to be so rude and abrasive. I was quite shaken and anxoius from his tone; he was terrible to deal with. I love Absa and the staff are usually so helpful and friendly but this man was definitely ruining Absa's reputation in my opinion.
