I looking on the internet for Car insurance quotes to get an idea of what is out there.
I was called by dial direct. Besides the fact that they talked to me for just over HALF AN HOUR!
They INSISTED that I give them my banking details otherwise we cannot continue with the quote and it will not be guaranteed. I refused a few time, because I only wanted A QUOTE, as I did not even have the car yet (and I did tell them that).
In the end I gave in and gave her my details, but I did ask if I did not want the insurance can I just call and cancel without money being deducted and I was assured that this will be possible.
Called back before end of April to cancel and was told but they can give me a better deal for house cover included after telling them I have something I like.
I looked at the offer and phoned back later to still cancel and was told that the money will be deducted.
Money was deducted and when I phoned to get it payed back I was told that I should cancel it myself, it will be "less effort for Dial direct" then and otherwise it will take almost a MONTH for me to get my money back.
I want my money back and I want Dial Direct to pay my unnecessary bank fees!
