Here's my story of Vodacom's incompetence, apathy, lethargy and arrogance.
I purchased prepaid data for R999 on the 28th of Oct (it's their promo 12x1 GB prepaid data bundle).
November's great... I get my 1 Gig of data.
Come December and unbeknownst to me my 1 Gig of data for is NOT allocated.
I continue using my phone unaware that Vodacom is busy my 'airtime' for data usage because of the non-allocation of my prepaid data.
I had to take my daughter to hospital yesterday and needed to make a call home... but couldn't as my airtime had run out!
So Vodacom adds to my already high stress levels by my airtime down to zero resulting in me not being able to make an urgent call!
Get home... check my status online which says I have ZERO airtime and ZERO pre-paid data!
Phone the call centre, speak to Kershwin who handled my abuse well but couldn't help at all. His idea of help is to log a call and get someone from the technical team to call back.
Needless to say nobody has called back yet and now I feel compelled to let everyone know what rubbish service looks and feels like.
Vodacom by not allocating my prepaid data you've my airtime and caused me unnecessary stress!
