I had to change the engine in my motor vehicle and attempted to update the information at which point I was told that I only need to send them the police clearance certificate and they will do the rest. Which is in agreement with what the licencing department told me. Once sent through I was informed that I need to do all of this. I have an account with MFC as they are still financing the vehicle. How can I change the registration details if MFC has the original with them and will only amend the contract once I have amended the registration with the licencing department which requires me to do so with the original registration papers? I have discussed this with numerous car dealerships and they have all stated the same, that this needs to be done by MFC.
Why doesn't everyone at MFC agree on a process instead of wasting my work days with doing their admin and finding out the right process.
MFC please catch a wake up. I'm so thankful that this is the only account which I have with a division of Nedbank and eternally greatful that shortly I will not be doing business with them anymore!!
