Was told Santam Short term insurance, the best, by my broker. They do pay 90% of claims!
I gave my vehicle, with a set of keys to a motor dealer on consigment to sell, or pay me for my Nissan X Trail.
The guy in question has dissapeared with my car!
The Vehicle is still under finace with MFC Motor finance corporation. I reported the vehicle as stollen, with the SA Police and Santam Insurance on the 5th of February 2013.
An investigator was assigned to my claim!
Where he reported that i was negligent!
Its been a battle, with my brokers and Santam up to now, they will not be paying out my claim!
Issnt it why we take out insurance in the first place, to cover us for negligence, wheather it is or an accident! I have a ten year, no claim bonus! And feel that Santam, is not worthy of being a good short term insurance company, and not worth and radio adds, as honouring out claims!
To the investigator... Fu...
