My vehicle was involved in an accident in July 2012 with a santam customer. Santam's customer was the negligent party. My vehicle was written off. The person responsible for the accident turned into the on-coming traffic, causing the accident. Santam accepted negligence but was only willing to pay out R6700, as my girlfriend that was driving the vehicle was not OBSERVANT enough. The quotes to fix the vehilce was in excess of R140k. Santam this is unreasonable, my bull-bar is was worth more than R10000. I expected better from santam than this, bulling people.
