We were involved in an accident on the 17 May 2013. CHUBB Security vehicle knocked us from the back whilst we were parked at a yield sign & he knocked us from the back. We reported the incident to the Phoenix SAPS & there after reported the incident to our Insurance Company. CHUBB had informed us they their vehicle was insured by SANTAM. We were also informed by SANTAM to forward the claim to our insurance company & they will claim from SANTAM. The excess is R 3000.00 which we do not have, the total cost of the repairs is estimated to R 17 000.00. Our insurance company contacted SANTAM as well as myself. I was informed that there is no claim registered & secondly that vehicle does not even have a policy on their system. Our Insurance Company Attorneys have contacted SANTAM requesting feedback & to date they have not heard anything. It is now 3 & a half months & the car is not yet repaired & have not received any feedback. We are total & absolutely disgusted with CHUBB. When ever we tried contacting them they will just say "Speak to your Insurance Company".
