My girlfriend was invoved in an accident with one of santam's customers. They caused the accident. The quotes to fix the vehcle was all in excess of R140 000. Santam excepted to pay the claim and said that they would pay R6700, because she was not "obsevent enough" as if anyone else could have prevented this accident. Santam this is completely unreasonable, the bull-bar was worth more than R10000. And shortly after this debacle. Santam has the audacity to phone me and ask if I want to be insured by them? I would not suggest that anyone insures with santam.
