I tried to buy tickets on their site on 26 December 2012. I had selected them from the list of available tickets presented to me. After completing all the customer details and agreeing to their terms and conditions, I hit the "Buy" button. The resulting screen said something along the lines of "oops, your tickets aren't available - try again for some other ones". I didn't want anything else so I didn't proceed.
Now in spite of their not having performed (i.e. no transaction) they nonetheless raised a debit for the "Admin Fee" against my credit card. I immediately mailed them to complain and demand that they reverse it, but received no reply.
Today, three weeks later, the debit is still held against my account and I don't have access to that money. I phoned my bank and they say I must deal with FlightSite. I phone FlightSite and Carmen suggests I should phone my bank to check because they usually reverse it within three days. I tell her they're not entitled to keep it for ANY days - there was no transaction. She transfers me to Customer Service but I wait on the phone for a long time without anyone speaking to me again.
Be careful doing business with these people.
