Today it took me more than 3 hours to travel from home to work via train. On average my train arrives 10 mins later than it is supposed to. i reside in Somerset West and work in Cape Town CBD and since the beginning of the year i have lost more than 11 work hours due to train delays, I havent been asked to sign a warning but i have been verbally warned, i cant afford to travel by bus and there a re no taxis en route to or from Somerset West. Metrorail really has got to do something about the train service to and from Strand.
