I am writing to complain about the service rendered by Metrorail. I work in Somerset West and the train is the only available mode of public transport. The train runs after every hour from Cape Town. However several disruptions, cancellations and longer stops plague the service. Metrorail, as usual, does not provide information regarding these incidents.
I lost my job 8 months ago due to such service rendered by Metrorail. I got another job, and only 3 months on the job, I am threatened of failing my probation due to lateness. This is caused by Metrorail. Despite having an impolite and badly trained personnel (ticket attendants), Metrorail does not bother giving feedback on complaints lodged through their call center (0800656463).
Been completely out of breath with this service and in case I end up losing my job, I will take Metrorail to Court for damages.
