Unreliable and pathetic service

I really speak for the masses that depend on the train to get to and fro from work. I read with disgust every month when the monthly metrorail publication publishes stats on train, and that they are always on time. I have taken the 06:56 train from Woodstock to Stellenbosch since the beginning of February and I have NEVER been to Stellenbosch at the said time. There is an element of deception here. There have been "defective sets, cable, stranded trains, accidents on the track, etc." and you claim relaibility. Today (22/04/2013) I got on the same 06:56 train and got to Stellenbosch at 09:00, is that on time? The communication from Metrorail is appalling, and disgusting to say the least. The operational issues that are part of the daily running of the service are silly and syupid, and can easily be overcome. A lot was said before the Soccer WC, about the revamp of the SERVICE, but all that has happened has been station upgrades but no improvement on the line. How is it a train service esp. with a reputation of breaking down does not have PA systems in the carriages (stupid!!!!! ). You compalin that there are 24 platforms servcing 12 lines, then spend more money on the operations
