Voyagermiles complaint

I am a member of voyager saa . we accumulate miles and can then use it to book a flight. I phoned on 7 January to make a booking for USA but was informed that there is no tickets available I then asked if I buy my tickets and upgrade to businessclass with the miles, but again no businessclass tickets available. Then I phoned today so that I can book tickets for December surely one year in advance will be more than enought time to make a booking. But again no seats available I am just wandering if voyager is worth it? when then do they want me to use my miles? Then they also tell me that my miles expire end of March. When I spoke to the teamleader and was informed that their members know that they must phone on the 1 January, I thought it is a public holiday and 7 January is 4 business workingdays later so I must believe that all the tickets, even to Budapest is sold out in 4 days. Please tell me if this is the same for all voyagermembers or are they lucky enough to get seats?
