Last week I went to the ACSA permit office to renew my permit. I filled in the required paperwork but became stuck at the authorised signatory as my father was my authorised person for that, my dad had unfortunately passed away on 13 Feb. I approached reception who sent me to enquiries, the young lady (unfortunately didn't get her name) there told me i needed another authorised person to sign my application. I got my brother to sign my form and went back to enquiries. So much confusion was caused by the young lady assisting me that I phoned my brother to come to the permit office. The young lady called Lerato and very irritatedly explained to her about me not understanding, I didn't cause the confusion. Lerato decently and professionally explained to my brother and I what was required due to my dad's death (he was the company owner) I dashed back home to write the required letter and made copies of our ID's and went back to the permit office where Lerato was waiting for me where she viewed the paperwork and gave me an appointment slip for this morning (4-03-13). Lerato saved the day and all of it was dealt with a big smile and professionalism. Lerato deserves an accolade for this.
